Marking the launch of Hyatt’s new lifestyle and responsibly engaged brand, Caption by Hyatt Beale Street Memphis will make its grand debut this summer. The hotel will sit on the corner of the iconic Beale and Front streets, featuring 136 rooms with stunning views of the Mississippi River and city skyline. Integrated into the historic, 19^th-century William C Ellis & Sons Ironworks and Machine Shop, the hotel will maintain many of the beautiful features that once graced the former structure.

Talk Shop, in the hotel’s lobby, will offer a reimagined hotel lobby experience, complete with an all-day lounge and workspace with craft coffee and cocktails. The space also includes an expansive patio and beer garden adorned with exposed brick and open fire pits. The all-day menu offers regional favorites, with the hotel partnering with Memphian purveyors to create unique and tasty dishes. Guests will enjoy a rotating calendar at the welcome area of different experiences like poetry jams, book clubs or open-mic sessions.

In addition to the use of mobile keys and mobile-order food service, guests will be able to use Apple Wallet to access their rooms. Each room and suite blends the culture of urban street art with soothing hues of greens and blues. Industrial barn-inspired doors open to well-lit bathrooms, and the hotel’s eight riverfront suites boast step-out balconies with views overlooking the Mississippi River and M Bridge. Rooms also include repurposed materials, a work/play lounge with a work table, and power outlets separate from the sleeping area. Reservations for the hotel are available starting July 1.
