This winter, Capella Hotels & Resorts welcomes the all-new Capella Taipei in the heart of Taipei’s vibrant Dunhua North Road neighborhood. The 86-key property features a design by acclaimed André Fu Studio to create a concept of a modern mansion. Tradition, individuality and a twist of the unexpected come together in Capella Taipei.
The new hotel is slated to be a focal point of culinary excellence, featuring the Grill, its main restaurant with innovative aging, grilling and smoking techniques at the forefront. The Grill offers a sustainably sourced, farm-to-table concept with a French-inspired, seasonal menu. Other food and beverage outlets include The Patisserie, serving artisanal breads and in-house roasted coffee; authentic Cantonese cuisine with Taiwanese influences; a premier Japanese omakase restaurant; and a two-story spot with a lively mixology-focused ground floor. Other exciting bar-centric concepts are expected to grace the hotel, too.
On the second floor, guests will have access to Capella Wellness, focusing on healing treatments inspired by traditional practices. Cappella Wellness offers signature treatments based around the phases of the moon. The wellness area comes with four treatment rooms, a fitness studio equipped with Technogym’s latest offerings and an outdoor heated pool.
Additional amenities in the hotel include corporate facilities for meeting spaces, called the Campus. The Campus features a conference hall and two additional meeting spaces. Capella Taipei will also come with a private event hall and salon with its own discreet private entry.
