Although Cape Grace celebrated its reopening last May, the property kept one surprise secret until now. This month, Cape Grace unveils the heart of its remodel with the launch of its new signature Cape Grace Suite, a two-bedroom residence with 360-degree views of Table Mountain.

Located on Cape Town, South Africa’s, iconic V&A Waterfront, the Cape Grace Suite offers the ideal private retreat for families or a group of friends looking to be at the doorstep of the city’s most popular cultural, culinary and historical landmarks. The suite’s terrace offers stunning views of the Marina, while French doors allow for natural light to flow through the suite. Designed to provide both relaxation and entertainment, the suite has a stylish lounge, a dining area and a private bar with a butler’s pantry.

As part of the year-long transformation, the Cape Grace Suite has been curated by South African art and design consultant Lezanne van Heerden. Known for her ability to tell a story through art, Van Heerden carefully picked each piece by contemporary South African artists to reflect the country’s diverse heritage. Pieces of the collection include an intricate printmaking and tapestry of Benjamin Stanwix, Cathay Abraham’s oil and copper leaf paintings, and Chantell Lungiswa Joe’s stoneware clay sculptures.

The suite provides a variety of exclusive concierge services and experiences, such as on-site check-in and a personal butler. Guests also have the opportunity to book bespoke experiences like curated wine and whisky tastings, as well as private dining experiences.
