Lifestyle hotel Canopy by Hilton launched a special pet-friendly program, Paws in the Neighborhood, in partnership with Planet Dog, the leading manufacturer of eco-friendly premium pet products.

The program, allowing guests to share comfortable stays with their canines, debuts at Canopy by Hilton Washington D.C. The Wharf, the brand’s first property in the Americas.

Upon arrival, human and canine guests receive a welcome gift including a Paws in the Neighborhood Cinch Pack; Planet Dog Orbee ball; a house-made, locally sourced dog treat; a dispenser of pick-up bags; a dog-friendly guide to the neighborhood; and eco-friendly, fleece-lined leashes and collars from Planet Dog’s best-selling hemp line.

Guests booking the pet program settle into the Just Right Room, complete with dog bed, a Canopy placemat, “Woof!” door hanger tag and Planet Dog food and water bowls. There is also a filtered water station on every floor to refresh bowls.
