London’s Brown’s Hotel, a Rocco Forte Hotel, recently debuted its newest signature suite, the Sir Paul Smith Suite, named for the British designer. The suite seeks to spark inspiration and creativity, as well as serve as a space for rest and relaxation through art and carefully curated furnishings.

“Being asked to design a space for such an iconic Mayfair institution is a great privilege – and I’ve had a great deal of fun in the process! Just like Browns does with its rooms, we design every Paul Smith shop differently to celebrate the area’s individuality, which is just one of the reasons the project appealed to me,” said Smith. “On a more personal level, I’m so pleased we’ve been able to include objects that inspire me personally and I hope, in turn, they’ll inspire the suite’s guests.”

Designed by Sir Paul Smith in collaboration with Olga Polizzi, director of design, Rocco Forte Hotels, the suite incorporates some of Smith’s notable collaborations, including pieces from his recent Everyday Life collection with Italian luxury furniture company DePadova. Unique details in the suite include banana door handles, striped fireplace tiles and a robot figurine made from a vintage camera.

The suite boasts limited-edition prints from photographer Julian Broad, an art wall featuring a variety of prints and original artwork, and a selection of soft furnishings. These furnishings include blankets and cushions from Smith’s homeware collection released in 2022. Guests also have the opportunity to purchase select pieces from the suite, including prints and custom details, via an in-suite catalog provided.

Croatia Makes it Easy to Turn a Business Trip into a Family Vacation

Croatian tourism took off in the early 2000s and shows no signs of slowing, thanks in part to its starring role as the unmistakable setting in popular franchises like Game of Thrones and Below Deck Mediterranean. But there’s good reason both Hollywood and tourists keep returning to this small Balkan nation along the Adriatic Sea. Up and down the coast, it’s truly as stunning as it appears on camera, and moments here consistently feel elaborately staged ... but they’re not.
