Would-be travelers with hotel accommodations canceled or postponed by COVID-19 are (finally) in luck: Booking.com is offering a 15 percent rebooking bonus after travelers reschedule accommodations at their original property.
Booking.com users will receive the 15 percent reward after their stay on any accommodations made by Dec. 31, on stays between now and Jan. 4, 2021.
In an effort to support industry partners and incentivize travelers, Booking.com is waiving fees on canceled bookings, date changes and reservation commissions. Participating stays will have more flexible policies for travelers.
“All of us in travel share one common interest: for the travel industry to survive this crisis,” said Arjan Dijk, senior vice president and chief marketing officer, Booking.com. “We’re working tirelessly to bring business back to our partners, inspire travelers and reward them for supporting local businesses so that, when the time is right, we can continue to make it easier for everyone to experience the world.”
