My good friends Lexi and Chris are getting married the last weekend of April, and I could not be more excited. Last weekend, the girls headed to Pennsylvania’s Pocono Mountains for the bachelorette party. One of our friend’s family owns a house on Lake Harmony, and they kindly let us stay for the weekend.
We had a pretty laid-back weekend, hanging out in the house most of the time, playing games, talking and making memories. It rained a lot of the weekend, so we were stuck in the house. We wanted to get out and explore the lake, make a fire and enjoy the outdoors, but the weather didn’t allow us.
On Saturday we rented a van to go 30 minutes to Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, for axe throwing and lunch. Axe throwing was at a brewery, so we were able to enjoy drinks while we played a competitive tournament. After our time at axe throwing, we went to lunch and a couple local bars. It was nice to get out for the day!
The trip was a great way to kick off the wedding celebrations. This past weekend we celebrated the beautiful bride again at the wedding shower.
The wedding is quickly approaching, and everyone is excited. I just tried on my dress, and I can’t wait to see everyone all glammed up in their dresses, especially the bride. Stay tuned to see how the wedding went!
