Earlier this month I was honored to be apart of the beginning of a new milestone for China Airlines in the United States: the airline launched its first Boeing Next Generation 777-300ER aircraft on non-stop service from Los Angeles (LAX) to Taipei (TPE). China Airlines’ president, Mr. Lin, was on hand, along with several Taiwanese dignitaries for the ribbon cutting ceremony and an onboard sneak peak. The entire design of the aircraft sets a high benchmark for all Asian competitors. The new business class boasts 180-degree flat bed seats and 18-inch screens.
