As I explained in my last blog, I am making myself a goal to keep my New Year’s resolution for at least a full year. I came across a few tips online that are helping me and can help you as well keep your New Year’s resolution going strong!
- Pick a resolution that is realistic, something you know if you work hard enough for, you can achieve.
- Don’t overload yourself with too many resolutions. Pick one or two that you feel very strongly about and stick with them.
- Spread the word! Tell your family, friends and coworkers what your resolution is, and they could keep you motivated if you start to fall behind.
- Give yourself a pat on the back once in a while for keeping your resolution, or reward yourself with something you’ve been wanting, like a new pair of shoes or a jacket.
- Finally, stay positive! The power of positive thinking is an amazing thing.
