Whether for business or leisure, the travel process can be exhausting at times. After long flights, train rides or drives, nothing is more frustrating than when you finally arrive at your hotel or destination and you are forced to wait even longer. Lucky for me, in my recent stay at The Setai, Miami Beach, this was definitely not the case. My check-in experience at The Setai was by far my most memorable to date. From the moment you step foot on the property, The Setai delivers a true luxury experience.  Upon my arrival, my long, stressful day of meetings was forgotten. Before I even entered the building, several staff members greeted me, and my heavy luggage was whisked away. The friendly doorman directed me to the check-in area, where typically you stand in line and wait your turn. However, at The Setai, guests are seated comfortably in an area near the front desk. I was told to relax and that someone would assist me shortly. The doorman disappeared for a minute, only to return with a refreshing iced green tea and a cool towel. I couldn’t have asked for anything better on an August day in Miami! The front desk clerk insisted that I stay seated and enjoy my tea while she checked me in. I was traveling for business, yet The Setai staff made me feel relaxed and almost as if I were in vacation mode. To conclude the check-in process, the front desk attendant escorted me to my room. From arriving at the hotel to entering my room, I was settled in an acceptable amount of time. I was thoroughly impressed and enjoyed every moment of the seamless check-in process at The Setai. Saying the property makes a good first impression is an understatement; the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome from the beginning to the end of your stay. To top it off, not one member of The Setai staff walked past me without smiling and saying hello. Not one! The impeccable service and attention to guests certainly did not go unrecognized.
