Today is my birthday! With so many things to do and ways to celebrate, I wanted to try something new. BYOB painting parties have become quite popular, and I have heard nothing but great things. The idea is to arrange a group of people to attend a painting class together, drink wine (or your drink of choice), eat, enjoy time with friends or family and have a painting to take home with you. In my research, I was surprised at how many studios in Bucks County offer the BYOB painting classes. We decided on scheduling a class with Paint To You; in addition to offering paint classes, the company also offers an instructor who comes to you! This way you can hold the party at your own desired location or home. How convenient! I was able to browse through a gallery to choose the painting of my choice for our class. Each person will have their own blank canvas and a set of paints to create their masterpiece, with help from the instructor, of course. I decided to go with a beach scene to paint, as we all know in the northeast, sunny days and warm weather couldn’t come any faster.
