Do you believe your fellow travelers are considerate? Are you a considerate traveler? According to a North American Travelocity survey, most American and Canadian travelers believe they are polite while in transit. Approximately 1,562 respondents took the anonymous online survey. Here are some of the findings:

• When it comes to seat recline, 59 percent only partially recline to minimize disturbance for the passenger behind them. On the other hand, 18 percent fully recline and don’t ask the person behind them if they are okay.
• A whopping 93 percent of passengers help others stow luggage.
• Going to the lavatory? More than half of the respondents always wipe the sink and 64 percent will climb over seatmates rather than wake them up on their way.
• A surprising 81 percent say they always turn off their cellphones when instructed to do so.
• A much smaller percentage, 28 percent, pay full attention to the safety demonstration.
