As I write this blog, I am waiting to board my flight to Las Vegas. I have been to Vegas several times, and this time it will be a six-day trip. I have a few things planned.

We are definitely going to see Love, Cirque de Soleil celebrating the music of the Beatles. Having heard so much about it and being a longtime Beatles fan, this is a must-see.
We will also try to meet NFL Hall of Famer and Chicago Bears legend Dick Butkus at Field of Dreams at Caesars Palace. Butkus appears there several days a week. Despite meeting many athletes, I have never met Butkus
Last time I was in Vegas, I spent a lot of time at the Pai Gow table. Pai Gow is the Americanized card version of a Chinese dominoes game. It is a fairly relaxed game which you can play for hours without losing too much money (unfortunately, you won’t win much, either). I am sure I will spend some time in the sports book areas. With the NCAA tourney down to the Sweet 16, there will be plenty of action to enjoy.
I also plan on trying to find a cool underground video arcade I saw last time I was there. It has all of the great arcade games from my youth. After too many hours in the casino, a nice break to play Tron will be relaxing.
If anyone has any other ideas, I’ll be there through Saturday, so feel free to leave any suggestions. I’ll give my Vegas report on next week’s blog.
