After experiencing Paris, we soon headed to Cannes for the next stop on our Eurotrip. I was super excited to be along the Mediterranean and experience “The Beverly Hills of Europe.” After a seamless arrival at Nice Côte d’Azur Airport, we were kindly greeted by our driver from Le Majestic. He helped us with our luggage and directed us to the black Mercedes-Benz van. After a short, 30-minute drive, we arrived at lavish Hotel Barrière Le Majestic Cannes.

I was impressed as soon as we arrived. Le Majestic is perfectly located and surrounded by tall palm trees (which reminded me of SoCal.) Everything around us was luxurious, from the Gucci store next door to the cars in valet. We made our way through the lobby to check in, and we were then shown to our suite. On our way up, I noticed various photos throughout the hall display celebrities who have stayed at Le Majestic, particularly due to its connection to the Cannes Film Festival and the level of privacy the property provides. I know I felt like a movie star during my stay.

As soon as we entered our room, we walked down a long hallway. The left side offered a bench and various storage spaces; on the right side, small yellow lights lined the wall. This feature I loved, as I had never seen anything like it. My eyes then drifted to the two large doors that opened to the lovely private balcony. It was the perfect place to enjoy the view of the Mediterranean. The living space overlooking the balcony followed an upscale coastal aesthetic with browns and shades of blue. Everything was pristine to the final details. Two sleek, adjustable panels concealed the mounted flat-screen TV. Countertops were found on both sides of the TV, offering ample room for all my belongings. On the right side, a Nespresso machine was found with all the coffee must-haves. On the left side was a Compoz Paris diffuser that allowed you to pick your desired scent and then directed you to the chosen capsules. This feature enhanced my stay at Le Majestic and has me wanting one for my house!

I entered the next room, where the king-sized bed overlooked a second balcony which provided a perfect view of the large pool and the other side of the hotel. The bed was as comfortable as it looked and followed the room aesthetic with beige and white pillows on top. A large statement mirror was placed behind the bed that included a string design, simply adding to the beauty of the room. The bathroom was undeniably impressive, in line with the rest of the suite. The bathroom boasted a bathtub, a large walk-in shower, two sinks and a large countertop.

Given the class and elegance of Le Majestic, I just had to play “Glamorous” by Fergie while unpacking. Then, room service arrived with Champagne!

Nov 6, 2026Nature and Nordic Culture Ensure a Perfect Pace for Exploring Stockholm
Crowned the “Capital of Scandinavia,” Stockholm stands at the epicenter of modern Nordic movements that — much like their Viking forebears — have swept across the globe. From art to design to cuisine, the Swedish city entices business and leisure travelers alike. Also fitting for its Viking history: the capital’s waterfront positioning, situated across 14 islands where Lake Mälaren meets the Baltic Sea. For a country that infamously sees little sunshine in the winter months, outdoor pursuits remain popular year-round, from hiking to sailing to ice-skating.
