On Wednesday I attended my first runway show for New York Fashion Week . It was a cool experience and definitely fun to be part of the fashion industry buzz, if even for a brief moment.
Etihad Airways serves as one of the main sponsors for NYFW, and the airline’s partner, Alitalia, invited me, Banu Yilmaz and Kimberly LaGeuex to attend the Anna Sui show as its guests. I was excited to attend such a noteworthy Fashion Week show, and the ready-to-wear collection delivered Sui’s signature otherworldly, Bohemian Hollywood glam.
While I was hoping for a celeb sighting near me in the audience, this was definitely a show for spotting some of the modeling world’s biggest names — we watched the likes of Bella Hadid, Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid walk the catwalk.
