- 4 percent of buyers want to spend less than $399,999
- The top five cities with the highest cap rate/ROI:
- Gatlinburg, Tennessee
- Augustine, Florida
- Gulf Shores, Alabama
- Dauphin Island, Alabama
- Norris Lake, Tennessee
- Newcomers to the list this year are Deep Creek Lake, Maryland; Cle Elum, Washington; Litchfield Beach, South Carolina; and Twentynine Palms, California
- States with multiple cities in the top 25 include Florida, California, Tennessee, Alabama, Vermont, Georgia and Colorado
