Following renovations, Belmond La Samanna reopens in St. Martin, welcoming guests from Dec. 10. Located in the luxurious French West Indies neighborhood overlooking Baie Longue’s white, sandy beaches, the resort offers elegant amenities, upscale experiences and access to the island’s best shopping and dining.

With the re-opening, guests enjoy refreshed interior design across the 83 guestrooms and public spaces. The “pastel-chic” theme incorporates pastel blue, green, pink and peach tones reflecting the Caribbean location, alongside shells, corals and botanical prints.

The new design extends to the resort’s beachfront French restaurant Trellis. Alongside the European fine dining, guests are treated to a fine wine pairing experience courtesy of La Cave Wine Cellar, the largest private wine cellar in the Caribbean. The Beach Bar also sports a new look as a playful, glamorous nightlife hot spot.

Amenities guests can still expect after the reopening include the Water Sports Cabana for endless water activities and excursions, tennis lessons led by the pros and the La Samanna Spa situated on a candlelit hilltop.

Celebrating both the reopening of Belmond La Samanna and that of sister property Belmond Cap Juluca Nov. 17, the brand offers an island-hopping promotion, giving guests a five-night stay split across both properties. The getaway starts at $3,500 for two people.
