Azamara Club Cruises announced its extensive 2020 itineraries, further highlighting the brand’s commitment to creating immersive experiences that allow travelers to connect with local cultures. With a total 92 cruises across three ships, Azamara will offer 41 maiden ports, 303 late-night stays, 170 overnight stays and 40 country-intensive voyages.
Azamara expands its global coverage in 2020 by calling in South Africa and the African continent for the first time. The new South Africa itineraries coincide with pre- and post-cruise offers from Micato Safaris. In addition, Azamara deepens its Destination Immersion programming with three options: Cruise Global, Stay Local Kenya; Cruise Global, Meet Local South Africa; and Cruise Global, Taste Local South Africa.
Other 2020 itineraries feature an 18-night maiden voyage to French Polynesia and Hawai’i. Specialty voyages include country-intensive cruises in Ireland, Scotland, Denmark and South Africa; a meeting of the three sister ships in Koper, Slovenia, with an AzAmazing Evening in port; holiday and Christmas sailings; the brand’s second World Journey from Cape Town to Southampton; and a 42-night Triple Tour allowing guests to sail on all three ships.
Starting in 2020, a more inclusive stateroom category, Veranda Plus, will be introduced, including additional benefits such as internet minutes, a night of specialty dining, priority embarkation and more.
