AVANI Hotels & Resorts, the upscale brand from Thailand-based Minor Hotel Group, debuted its first property in the Indian Ocean with the opening of AVANI Seychelles Barbarons Resort & Spa. Located 25 minutes from Seychelles International Airport, the resort is nestled on tranquil Barbarons Beach along Mahé’s west coast and opens following an extensive $14 million refurbishment.
The resort offers 124 guestrooms and suites, each featuring a balcony or terrace with garden, pool or ocean view, and essential comforts inside. The property’s two restaurants are accompanied with pool and shisha bars as well as private dining. Facilities include an outdoor pool, spa with a plunge pool and sundeck and a children’s club.
The AVANI Hotels & Resorts portfolio includes 13 properties across Thailand, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Malaysia, the Seychelles, Mozambique, Botswana, Lesotho, Namibia and Zambia.
