Marriott International’s Autograph Collection debuts in Turkey with the opening of Sofa Hotel Istanbul. The 82-guestroom property sits in the historic center of the country, in Istanbul’s Nişantaşı shopping district.

Renowned Turkish architect Hakan Kiran designed the hotel. Decor includes custom-designed furniture, bespoke artwork and modern light fittings. Color palettes include grey tones with deep red, mustard and copper accents. Among the 82 guestrooms are five suites and a selection of terrace rooms with private balconies. Each guestroom includes a large marble bathroom with a standing shower and soaking tub.

On-site dining includes Sofie Restaurant, open 24/7 and serving gourmet breakfast, lunch and dinner. On the rooftop, Frankie Istanbul serves a Mediterranean fusion menu with views of the city.

The Green Spa features a wide array of treatments and Turkish hammams. The signature treatment is a traditional Turkish scrub with Ottoman-era origins.
