Offering an urban setting with modern luxuries and plenty of Texas charm, Bowie House — part of Auberge Resorts Collection — is officially open and ready to welcome travelers to the Lone Star State.

Brick, cast stone and glass architectural features, weathered limestone floors and a wood-vaulted foyer set the tone, while original works of art by Ashley Collins, Max Zorn, Don Drumm and David Yarrow help to create a true sense of place. Black-and-white, ranch-themed works by photographer Constance Jaeggi grace the guestrooms, adding another local layer to the hotel experience.

Guest spaces include 88 studios, 12 lofts and six suites, some with balconies. Inside, design features such as hat racks and boot benches, woven rugs, textured strié wallcoverings, headboards upholstered in leather and curved bar cabinets help create sophisticated and soothing retreats. On-site dining at Bricks and Horses offers the option of dry-aged local beef and supper club-styled menus overseen by Executive Chef Antonio Votta. The restaurant’s graceful and stylish décor features suede wall paneling, leather banquettes and chevron wood floors.

Guests can indulge in body treatments and rejuvenating therapies at Ash, the property’s tranquil spa. Along with five treatment rooms, a sauna, steam room and fitness center, the spa includes a nail studio, relaxation lounge, boutique and private access to an expansive second floor terrace.
