Ocean Casino Resort announced a multimillion-dollar, property-wide transformation for this year. These development projects are part of a seven-year plan the hotel has been working on since 2018.
“Ocean continues to invest in property enhancements that enable us to provide an unmatched guest experience not only in Atlantic City, but nationwide,” said Bill Callahan, general manager, Ocean Casino Resort. “We are introducing five highly anticipated dining concepts that our customers have been asking for. This year also marks an exciting milestone as we complete the entire hotel with fully renovated guest rooms and suites.”

Ocean’s improvements include upgrades to its 1,860 guestrooms and suites. The design of the new Blu rooms and suites will be inspired by the colors and patterns of the shoreline on Ocean’s beachfront location. Beach-inspired flooring and wall décor create a calm environment, while pops of color complement ocean views. The newly designed suites offer improved finishes and new amenities such as a dining area, wet bar and lounge seating.
The resort will also welcome two new restaurants in partnership with restaurateur Stephen Starr. The multimillion-dollar concept will lie on the lobby level and open this summer.

Additionally, a South Jersey and Philadelphia favorite, LaScala’s Fire, is coming to the hotel. The restaurant is known for its classic Italian American cuisine, and the new destination will offer dishes like ricotta board, cheesesteak egg rolls, meatball trio, delicious pastas, gourmet pizzas, chicken parmesan and grilled salmon.
Other food and beverage additions include High Steaks, offering delicious traditional and unique cheesesteaks, while Blend will have hand-crafted smoothies and açai bowls.

The casino is also getting an upgrade and will introduce a polished Asian gaming space this summer. The space, designed by R2Architects, will feature 32 gaming tables like Mini Baccarat and Pai Gow Poker.

Ocean will also introduce a new multimillion-dollar entertainment activity, Ocean’s 18 Mini Golf & Bar. This addition will feature a state-of-the-art course and two stories of other immersive activities. When guests enter, they are greeted by two holograms of a 12-foot great white shark for an environment unlike any other.
Jersey Shore fans will be delighted to hear: Sweetheart Coast by Sammi Sweetheart will open this summer in the Shops at Row. The fashionable clothing boutique features clothing for women of all shapes and sizes, home decor, accessories and unique gifts.
