Hyatt Hotels will debut the Andaz brand in Latin America this December with the opening of the Andaz Papagayo on the island of Costa Rica. Located adjacent to Marina Papagayo and overlooking the Bay of Culebra, the oceanfront property will feature 153 guestrooms, including 21 luxury suites and one presidential suite with a private, full-size pool. Each guestroom will include views of the ocean, balconies, complimentary minibars and bath products created by local artisans. The hotel will also feature four restaurants with farm-to-table ingredients and locally inspired cuisine; an 11,000-square-foot spa with nine treatment rooms; two swimming pools; a private beach; and 8,200 square feet of meeting and event space. Andaz currently operates nine properties around the world, including locations in New York, California, Georgia, London, Amsterdam and Shanghai.
