The recent opening of Anantara Dubai The Palm Resort & Spa marks the fifth Anantara to open in the United Arab Emirates. The new 293-room resort offers several different types of accommodations, including one- and two-bedroom beach pool villas with infinity pools overlooking the lagoon or The Palm. The resort also features the Middle East’s first over-water villas.
The Thailand-based company is bringing a touch of home to the U.A.E. getaway; tuk-tuks transport guests around the resort and floating market-style boats glide across the lagoon pools serving cocktails. In a nod to its home in Dubai, the lobby has a Dubai heritage corner with various indigenous artifacts.
