ANA is set launch a new in-flight entertainment system, offering a total of 351 channels with a broad range of content including international movies and overseas television series. This represents an increase in content of 40 percent from March 2014.
In addition to the broader selection of content, ANA will also be screening programs in 13 languages, with approximately 70 percent of content available in multiple languages. Following these upgrades, ANA will provide more channels, in a greater selection of languages than any other Japanese airline.
On the majority of ANA’s international flights, each seat is equipped with a personal monitor, providing on-demand services allowing customers to enjoy their desired content at any time. Beginning in February, the in-flight entertainment guide, ANA Sky Channel, will allow passengers to view program listings by language of broadcast.
The new line-up includes 52 movie channels, 142 video channels (original ANA broadcasts, popular television series, sports, music and children’s programs), 148 audio channels and nine gaming channels. Programming will be available in Japanese, English, French, German, Korean, Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Thai, Tagalog and Hindi

ARRIVAL/CHECK-IN: Philadelphia was filling up with travelers, so I booked Kimpton Hotel Palomar due to its location in the heart of Center City — just off Samson Street, full of great restaurants, and a few blocks from The Union League (where I was attending an event) and City Hall. I parked around the corner; there are many options, and the hotel is also close to public transportation. I admired the lobby renovations that took place not too long ago, making this a hidden gem with a real Philadelphia feel. The doorman greeted me and held my bags, as I arrived in the morning for meetings before check- in. When I returned in the afternoon, check-in was swift with a friendly front desk team offering water and help with questions.
