A first-of-its-kind property is set to launch this October in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
This October, American Dream will open its doors to the public. An indoor Nickelodeon Universe theme park and DreamWorks water park, an indoor snow sports center, Angry Birds miniature golf and unparalleled shopping make the new destination perfect for any family with kids.
“We have a one‐of‐a‐kind property that will reshape the way people think about entertainment, theme parks and shopping and we are so excited to reveal our incredible Nickelodeon Theme Park, DreamWorks Water Park and Big SNOW Ski and Snowboard Park,” said Don Ghermezian, president, American Dream.
“American Dream brings its guests an unrivaled destination for style and fun. Its unique mix of entertainment (55%) and experiential retail (45%) will welcome and entertain guests, embracing everyone in a new retail and entertainment revolution, where everything is possible,” said Ken Downing, chief creative officer, Triple Five Group.
In addition to the theme parks, curated shopping and dining options are coming to the 3-million-square-foot property as well. A social lounge, aquarium and more add to the property’s clout as a family destination.
A luxury movie theater and more than 100 specialty dining options, including more than 20 full-service restaurants, enhance the options. Luxury retail anchored by Saks Fifth Avenue and Barneys New York round out the entertainment options.
