American Airlines will grow its route network from its trans-Pacific gateway at Los Angeles (LAX) with new non-stop service to Tokyo Haneda (HND) beginning Feb. 11, 2016. Customers are now able to book travel on the new route, which will operate with Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft featuring 28 fully lie-flat seats in business class. American’s new Los Angeles-Haneda service will be operated as part of the airline’s joint business venture with fellow oneworld member Japan Airlines. Through oneworld member airlines and their affiliates, American’s customers have access to nearly 150 destinations within Asia. In addition to Haneda, American recently announced new trans-Pacific service from Los Angeles to Sydney (SYD) beginning Dec. 17.
