American Airlines will introduce a premium-economy class to international flights late next year. Passengers will find the new cabin behind business class and before Main Cabin Extra seats. Perks include wider seats, more legroom, enhanced meal service and personal on-demand entertainment, while amenities include noise-reducing headphones, amenity kits, priority check-in and priority checked baggage allowance. American’s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner will debut the new class in late 2016. The carrier plans to add the service on Airbus A350 aircraft, slated for delivery in 2017, as well as Boeing 777-300ERs, 777-200ERs, 787-800s and Airbus A330s over the next three years.
