American Airlines launched a brand-new non-stop flight from Miami (MIA) to Córdoba (COR), Argentina, available four-times weekly. The new route, flying a Boeing 767-300, will be available Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. The flights offer a capacity for 204 passengers, totaling 42,432 available seats per year.

“A little more than a decade ago, Córdoba had only a few flights and today it has become a key operational center for air connectivity. From the National Government, there is a strong commitment for the development of tourism activity with a deep national focus,” said Gustavo Santos, secretary of tourism, Argentina.

American Airlines began offering flights to Argentina in 1990, but this will be the first flight operated from an airport other than Ezeiza International Airport in Buenos Aires. This new route marks the beginning of decentralizing international flights in the country and promotes a stronger connection between the United States and Argentina.

The American Airlines flight departs Miami International Airport at 10:45 p.m., arriving Pajas Blancas Airport in Córdoba at 8:22 a.m. the next day. As for the return flight (available Wednesday, Friday, Sunday and Monday) travelers depart Córdoba at 9:52 a.m. and arrive in Miami at 5:55 p.m.
