Now available to book, American Airlines offers new routes from Philadelphia (PHL) to the Midwest and Texas.
Service to San Antonio (SAT) begins Feb. 15, with service to Des Moines (DSM), Madison (MSN) and Omaha (OMA) commencing May 4.
“These new domestic markets are important and will complement the recently announced international destinations from our Philadelphia hub. American offers more non-stop flights than all other airlines combined at PHL and we are excited to add to that roster,” said Vasu Raja, vice president, network and schedule planning, American Airlines.
In addition, an Airbus A330-200 aircraft is added to PHL–LAX routes effective March 25.
Flights to San Antonio depart Philadelphia at 6:35 p.m., arriving in Texas at 9:31 p.m. Flights to Madison depart at 10:30 a.m., arriving at 12 p.m. Flights to Des Moines depart twice daily, once at 11:05 a.m., and later at 6:05 p.m., with an approximate flight time of two hours. Flights to Omaha also depart twice daily, with departures at 10:30 a.m. and 5:39 p.m., with similar flight times.
An A319 services flights to San Antonio, while Embraer E175 aircraft serve all other new routes.
