Starwood Hotels & Resorts continues to grow its tech-forward Aloft brand in the United States with the opening of Aloft Buffalo Airport, increasing Starwood’s portfolio to six hotels in the greater Niagara region. Located 10 minutes from the entrance of Buffalo Niagara International Airport, the new hotel is less than 15 minutes from restaurants, night clubs, art galleries and theaters in downtown Buffalo and 30 minutes from Niagara Falls.
“Aloft Buffalo Airport is a terrific addition to Starwood’s growing portfolio and provides an exciting, new destination for next generation travelers and area professionals with its distinctive design aesthetic and live music offerings,” said Brian McGuinness, senior vice president of specialty select brands, Starwood Hotels & Resorts. “Aloft is enjoying tremendous success and is on track to open its 100th hotel next year, fueled by rising demand in markets worldwide.”
The property offers 153 loft-like rooms boasting the ultra-comfortable signature Aloft bed, Bliss Bath amenities, a 42-inch LCD television and a game station for electronics. Amenities include the brand’s signature W XYZ bar, a grab-and-go food and beverage area, an indoor pool, a 24-hour fitness center, complimentary 24-hour airport shuttle service, free WiFi and 600 square feet of flexible meeting space.
