All Nippon Airways Acquires First 787-10
All Nippon Airways recently acquired its first Boeing 787-10 aircraft. Japan’s largest airline is set to receive two more of the aircraft by the end of fiscal year 2020.
The aircraft features upgraded seats in economy and premium-economy class. ANA is the first Japanese carrier to take delivery of the 787-10.
“The 787-10 is a cutting-edge plane and ANA is honored to be the first Japanese airline to fly the aircraft,” said Hideki Kunugi, executive vice president, ANA. ANA is the only airline in the region to fly all models of the 787.
The new aircraft is set to enter service April 26, on the Tokyo (NRT)–Singapore (SIN) route.
In addition to new seats, the aircraft features an adjustable headrest and a large personal touchscreen. In business class, the aircraft offers full lie-flat seats. The aircraft accommodates 294 passengers.
