Air France invites business-class travelers to rest easy. The airline recently announced a new partnership with Sofitel, part of Accor hotel group, offering custom mattress pads on every long-haul, business-class seat. This new feature from Sofitel’s bedding collection will begin rolling out across long-haul flights starting in July.

“We are delighted to join forces with the expertise of Sofitel MY BED, an exceptional partner, to continue making business cabin travel a true haven of well-being in the sky,” said Fabien Pelous, SVP customer experience, Air France. “The introduction of a new mattress pad will further enhance the comfort offered on board, ensuring even more restful nights before arrival at destination, as well as greater relaxation during daytime flights.”
The mattress pad was especially created for the airline’s business-class cabin. Placed on each seat before boarding, the pad can be rolled out for added comfort in any seat position. The pad was designed to fit all aircraft types and may safely be used during different flight phases, including take-off and landing. Guests also receive a pillow, blanket and slippers at their seat.

The accessory will be available on all of the airline’s long-haul flights, regardless of departure time or flight duration, by the end of 2025.
