Air France expanded its route network with the launch of new service between Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) and Panama Tocumen International Airport (PTY). The national carrier offers service between the two cities three times a week with Boeing 777-200 aircraft, featuring 35 seats in business class, 24 in premium economy and 250 in economy. Air France–KLM currently flies to 25 destinations in Central and South America and the Caribbean, providing more than 200 weekly flights from Paris and Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS). “Air France is continuing to expand in areas of high economic development. With the launch of a new route to Panama City, we have confirmed our position as a leader in Central and South America and the Caribbean,” said Frederic Gagey, chairman and CEO of Air France. “We are strengthening our presence in the region and are offering our customers numerous connecting opportunities via the Copa Airlines hub at Panama City-Tocumen Airport.”
