Air China recently opened its newest lounge, called the Supreme Lounge, in Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (TPE). Located on the fourth floor of Terminal 2, the new VIP lounge is open to first class passengers and Paragon cardholders and joins the airline’s other two lounges located in Terminals 1 and 2.

The Supreme Lounge features 5,516 square feet of space with seating for 65 people. Amenities include complimentary WiFi, a PC area, a private reading area and shower facilities. Passengers can choose from a range of dining services, including a selection of Chinese and Western cuisine and Taiwanese snacks such as bubble tea, sweet potatoes and tea eggs. Created by architect Ricky Liu, the Supreme Lounge’s design is based on a “Nouveau Oriental” theme, featuring a fusion of eastern and western design elements.

Air China also announced the expansion of its baggage through check-in service, making the service from international cities to domestic cities via Beijing more accessible. Passengers traveling from London (LHR), Paris (CDG), Dusseldorf (DUS), Munich (MUC), Frankfurt (FRA), Rome (FCO), Milan (MXP), Stockholm (ARN), Vancouver (YVR), Los Angeles (LAX), San Francisco (SFO), New York (JFK) and Geneva (GVA) and connecting via Beijing (PEK) to other Chinese cities can now have their baggage checked all the way through to their final destination at their airport of origin. Houston will add the service when Air China’s Houston–Beijing route launches July 11.
