An International Air Transport Association training center is coming to Thailand thanks to an agreement between Bangkok Air Aviation Training Center and IATA.
BATC is the only organization in Thailand appointed an IATA Regional Aviation Training partner. On the international level, the appointment will raise the standard of aviation training in the region.
According to a statement from Bangkok Airways Public Company Limited, the umbrella in charge of the BATC, the training center will employ two types of education. Classroom instruction and electronic learning combine to provide theoretical and practical education for pilots.
