In late March, Singapore Airlines introduced the world’s first Boeing 787-10 plane. Measuring 224 feet long, the Boeing 787-10 is the longest of Boeing’s Dreamliner aircraft and offers the largest passenger capacity at 337 people. Of these seats, there are 36 business-class seats and 301 economy-class seats.
The new planes will be equipped with mood lighting, window shades that passengers can dim electronically and business-class seats that can recline to lie completely flat. In economy seats, passengers choose from six different adjustment settings on their headrests and will notice a more contoured backrest in each seat.
Both classes of seats feature the myKrisWorld in-flight entertainment system, a forward-thinking system that tailors programming to a passenger’s previous selections and can save entertainment selections from past flights with Singapore Airlines, to be resumed on another flight.
Singapore Airlines ordered 49 of these aircraft and debuted the inaugural flight in May. This new fleet of aircraft will be used on flights with durations of up to eight hours.

Why Japan Is Best Explored by Sea with Princess
Japan is a destination that rewards repeat visits because no two regions — or seasons — feel quite the same. One moment, you’re wandering through centuries-old geisha districts in Kanazawa. The next, you’re watching neon reflections dance across Tokyo streets long after midnight.
