Omni Louisville Hotel opens after two years of construction as the tallest property in the city. A $300 million investment, the project offers more than 20 distinct amenities, including a 20,000-square-foot urban marketplace; a speakeasy with a bowling alley; an art gallery; a bourbon tasting room and shop; a luxury spa; and extensive event and meeting space. There are 612 guestrooms and suites across intersecting towers.
“Each Omni property is designed to reflect the local culture of its city and Louisville is no exception,” said Robert Rowling, owner and chairman, TRT Holdings, Inc., parent company of Omni Hotels & Resorts. “Louisville is a dynamic, vibrant city with a rich history and unbeatable culture. We’ve worked hard to make sure Omni Louisville Hotel reflects the city’s warmth and hospitality and we’re thrilled to welcome all our guests for an unforgettable experience.”
“Louisville is an important gateway to the Commonwealth, and the Omni Louisville Hotel is an outstanding partner in welcoming people to Kentucky,” said Governor Matt Bevin. “The Omni Louisville Hotel reflects the authenticity and charm of our state and provides a new attraction to guests as they explore all that Kentucky has to offer. We are grateful to Omni Hotels for this significant investment in our community.”
“Over the last two years, we’ve watched the Omni climb 30 stories into our skyline, while inside the hotel, the Omni team carefully curated every item in this building to reflect our city’s culture and personality,” said Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer. “Now, this long-dormant block is a vibrant development — a catalyst for continued growth and investment in our city.”
“We’ve been waiting for this day since the construction team broke ground in January 2016,” added Scott Stuckey, general manager, Omni Louisville Hotel. “We hope that Louisville will come to see Omni as the city’s new front door, and we can’t wait to welcome all our guests for an authentic Louisville experience.”
On-site dining includes all-day dining at Neighborhood Services; cocktails and art at the Library Bar; a rooftop bar and grill, The Water Company; and a fine-dining steakhouse, Bob’s Steak & Chop House.
The urban market, Falls City Market, offers local goods and dining, including coffee, a bookstore, a wine shop, a florist and more.
Atop the hotel sits 225 luxury apartments.
