Japan Airlines and Alaska Airlines agreed to expand their existing codeshare partnership, providing customers with an enhanced network of travel between Japan and U.S. cities.
JAL initially partnered with Alaska Airlines in June 2016, expanding codeshare agreements and enhancing frequent-flyer programmes. With the merger of Alaska Airlines and Virgin America complete, JAL’s customers now have even more flight options and access to U.S. West Coast cities.
JAL operates a modern fleet of Boeing 777-300ERs and 787s between Japan and North America, featuring private first- and business-class suites, 23-inch LCD monitors and Asian-inspired cuisine and beverages.
Reservations and ticket sales for the new codeshare flights are now available.
