Heading to Minneapolis for Super Bowl LII? Here are some of the top things to see and do in the Twin Cities while you’re visiting.
Museums and Galleries
Learn about the founding and expansion of Minneapolis at the Mill City Museum. Exhibits showcase the city’s rich and unique flour milling history.
One of the most visited modern and contemporary art museums in the United States, the Walker Art Center features more than 13,000 modern and contemporary art pieces including books, costumes, drawings, photography and sculpture. Admission is $15 for adults, and free for kids and teens under 18.
Art lovers won’t want to miss the distinctive Frederick R. Weisman Art Museum, located on the University of Minnesota campus. Designed by Frank Gehry in 1934, the art museum boasts a mind-boggling exterior design and an impressive collection of more than 25,000 pieces.
Outdoor Activities
Though Minneapolis is chilly in February, it’s still a lovely city to experience on foot. Walk or bike the pedestrian paths through the Chain of Lakes, a network of three separate lakes surrounding the city, or partake in a popular local tradition and go ice skating at Lake of the Isles, Landmark Plaza or Peavey Plaza.
Stroll through the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, an 11-acre park located near the Walker Art Center. As one of the largest urban sculpture gardens in the country, it’s home to more than 40 permanent art installations and several temporary pieces.
Bars and Restaurants
Minneapolis’ culinary scene has a lot to offer. If you can snag reservations, enjoy a French-inspired meal at cozy, rustic-chic Spoon and Stable; eclectic comfort fare at 112 Eatery; craft cocktails and bar bites at Borough; and locally sourced, modern American fare at Restaurant Alma.
If you’re just looking to grab a drink to celebrate or mourn the results of the Super Bowl, stop in The Happy Gnome, The Muddy Pig, Tattersall Distillery or Troubadour Wine Bar.

Jun 4, 2025Hyatt Centric Las Olas Review
Today’s Fort Lauderdale is not the one you or your older relatives experienced in college; while beachfront surf shops along Fort Lauderdale Boulevard recall that colorful Spring Break era, Las Olas Boulevard embodies the city’s recent glow-up, particularly after the pandemic. In fact, it was spring 2020 when Hyatt Centric Las Olas opened its doors and played a major role in reshaping and rethinking Fort Lauderdale as a relaxed but lively vacation or business destination.
