If you’ve followed my blogs, you realize I rarely have anything negative to say about pizza. I can confirm every pizza place I visit I do indeed like, some more than others.

Recently, I thought I’d sampled all of the pizza in my area, but when I went to the post office at lunch last week to return a package, it turned out I was in the wrong location. However, the mishap led me to find Francesco’s Pizzeria. A wave of euphoria hit me. I had to stop; I had to sample.

I walked into Francesco’s expecting it to be empty simply because it was in an industrial park. I was mistaken. I walked into a packed dining room.

At the counter, I asked for two slices of the best pie, specifically, boardwalk pizza. The woman looked at me with her head cocked, “You mean Trenton-style?” I agreed with her and waited for my slices.

When I took my first bite, bliss. Sauce, cheese and crust, all in perfect harmony. I finished my slices and got one to go.

Needless to say, Francesco’s is my new favorite spot for pizza.
