Arrival/Check-In: If there is any hotel with a grand entrance, Jumeirah Emirates Towers is it. The atrium lobby gives a true feeling of space, something I’m not accustomed to, given my frequent New York City hotel stays. As you enter the hotel, you can’t help but notice The Lobby Lounge in the middle, filled with patrons enjoying drinks and snacks. The desk staff checked me in and escorted me to my suite. Multiple glass elevators toward the back of the lobby speed guests to their rooms.
Guest Quarters: I entered my suite to discover a welcome gift tower of sweets and dates (my favorite). I almost felt guilty traveling alone in Dubai since I wasn’t able to share these little treasures. My suite offered views of the financial district, and I was glad to see the hotel was within walking distance of the World Trade Center, as I’d be frequenting the Arabian Travel Market trade show during my stay.
My living room was put together with the business traveler in mind. The desk held all the necessities as well as multiple charging stations. A large table in the space behind the couch could easily be used as a small conference area. Add the wall-to-wall windows in the bedroom, and it is obvious why Dubai remains one of the top sought-after destinations for business and leisure travelers around the globe.
Services/Amenities: With 400 guestrooms and suites, this property offers everything, whether guests are here for business or leisure: 16 restaurants and nightlife venues, complimentary access to Wild Wadi Waterpark, a private beach, eight meeting rooms, a ballroom, the Biz Hub and outdoor venues for meetings and conferences. You do not need to leave the hotel. Staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Most importantly, a good night’s sleep is guaranteed.
