The downtown, waterfront Hilton Burlington, features a dog-friendly, charitable Come, Sit, Stay special, inviting guests to bring along their precious pooches while traveling this summer. When visitors check in with their furry friends, the hotel donates 20 percent of the room rate to the Chittenden County Humane Society to help animals in need.

As part of the promotion, four-legged guests visiting the Hilton Burlington enjoy special treats from Vermont Dog Eats, a local farm-to-bowl company creating its products with grass-fed beef, organic vegetables and eggs. In room, dogs will snooze comfortably in a Hilton deluxe pet bed and enjoy branded Hilton water and food bowls.

The hotel’s innovative restaurant and lounge, Mounted Cat, is also treating pups visiting the hotel with special non-alcoholic beer for dogs, Bowser Beer, brewed with malt barley and loaded with glucosamine for joint health. Pets can enjoy a choice between Beefy Brown Ale or Cock-a-Doodle Brew Browser Beers in the outside areas while their owners sip on Mounted Cat’s own brew, Mounted Cat Lagers.

Named Chittenden County Humane Society’s 2014 Community Partner of the Year, the Hilton Burlington offers a pet walking and relief area a short walk from its front door as well as recommendations for nearby pet-friendly parks, beaches, boutiques and shops.

The pet special is offered at the best available rate at time of booking. There is no weight limit for pets, but there is a non-refundable $50 pet cleaning fee.
