Shangri-La Hotel, Qinhuangdao opened this month in the small seaside city of Qinhuangdao in the Haigang District known for its blue waters and golden beach. Nestled along Bohai Bay, the 23-story hotel is located 15 minutes from a train station that transports travellers via high-speed links to Tianjin and Beijing in less than two hours. Each of the hotel’s 330 guestrooms and suites feature a plush sofa, ample desk space and a marble-appointed bathroom. In addition to multiple dining venues and meeting spaces, the hotel offers several wellness facilities, including a 25-metre indoor pool, a fully equipped gym, a spa with nine treatment rooms and bicycle rentals.

Cunard recently announced a stunning refurbishment of Queen Mary 2; the ship prepares to enter dry dock on March 31, 2027, as the flagship of the Cunard fleet and the only ship in the world offering regularly scheduled trans-Atlantic crossings between Southampton and New York.
