China Eastern Airlines plans to upgrade its service to Toronto Pearson International Airport with the deployment of larger aircraft and the addition of more flights. Starting this month, the carrier upgraded the route with its newest long-haul aircraft, the 316-seat Boeing 777-300ER, featuring six private suites in first class and 52 flat-bed seats in business class. From June 10, China Eastern will upgrade the route from three weekly flights between Shanghai’s Pudong International Airport and Toronto to daily service. Toronto will become the third North American destination to welcome the airline’s new aircraft, joining New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport and Los Angeles International Airport.
