Last week I experienced spectacular Emirates Airbus A380 aircraft at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport. To celebrate the airline’s fourth daily service from New York to Dubai International Airport, I had an exclusive tour of their first- and business-class lounge as well as the aircraft. I was impressed by how first- and business-class travelers can board the plan directly from the JFK Lounge — very convenient! The aircraft itself has a lower and upper deck. The first- and business-class cabins were the epitome of luxury. The flight attendants took us through the cabin and provided details about all in-flight offerings. I particularly enjoyed the shower spa, onboard bar and lounge area. While I have not experienced the airline on an actual flight, I must say the first-class seats would be fine by me! The premium-class seats were very spacious and comfortable for a long-haul flight. The dining selection looked quite appetizing, as trays of sample dishes were displayed in each cabin. For families traveling, I understand it may be stressful with children on such a long flight. The flight attendants showed all of the goodies and toys given to the children to keep them occupied during flights at no cost.
