Being a traveler like you, I get a lot of junk mail from American Express — but I have to say, it is really getting out of control. From American Express Open to Gold Card, from Platinum Card Business Cards to the American Express Publishing magazine I never ordered and all sorts of offers, it is really too much. I can’t imagine this type of shotgun marketing works. I think marketers are wowed by the prospects of working with AmEx, and they just join the Junkmail Train.
I honestly do not get this much from any other credit card company: Chase, Capital One and others simply do not send this much, and they respect their card members’ privacy. Does AmEx think we want all their garbage?
