British Airways announced plans to launch new service between London City (LCY) and Dusseldorf (DUS). The carrier will operate the route three times a day from Sept. 1 with Saab 2000 aircraft featuring 50 seats. Flights will depart from London City at 6:35 a.m., 1:15 p.m. and 6 p.m. and return service from Dusseldorf will leave at 7:35 a.m., 2:25 p.m. and 6:55 p.m. “We have launched a number of new leisure routes from London City in the past couple of years. Now we are very excited to be going to a great business city like Dusseldorf which offers significant trade links with the city of London,” said Luke Hayhoe, general manager of British Airways at London City.
