From being exfoliated with dune sand to the sauna cave built from granite stones gathered in the surrounding nature reserve, GocheGanas Wellness Village in Namibia provides a one-of-a-kind wellness escape. The village, located a scant half our from Namibia’s capital city of Windhoek, is comprised of 16 chalets with wide timber decks overlooking the reserve and outfitted with original local art, sunken baths, outdoor showers and sumptuous four-poster beds.
Guests can enjoy the yoga studio, a heated indoor pool beneath a vaulted cathedral ceiling, an outdoor pool with views, fully equipped gym, fruit and juice bar, or private nutritional consultations. A skin smoothing session with dune sand is followed by a mineral-rich clay wrap, quartz stone facial and a back massage with tools fashioned from dried indigenous calabash plants.
