JetBlue Airways plans to begin new non-stop service between Port-au-Prince, Haiti (PAP) and both New York (JFK) and Fort Lauderdale (FLL) Dec. 5. The carrier will operate daily service to New York with Airbus A320 aircraft featuring 150 seats and two daily round-trip flights to Fort Lauderdale with Embraer 190 aircraft featuring 90 seats. Port-au-Prince will be JetBlue’s 82nd destination. In the Caribbean, JetBlue is the largest carrier in terms of capacity in both Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic, offering more flights than any other airline.
